Reporting Storm Damage
Residents who were affected by Hurricane Francine between September 10-September 12, are encouraged to complete the Damage Assessment Survey at damage.la.gov. This data will allow officials to gather information on the extent of damage incurred across EBRP. Further, survey results document the impact of this disaster on individuals, families, businesses and public infrastructure. The information will also assist with identifying recovery needs and continue efforts for debris removal around the Parish.
City-Parish crews will continue damage assessment work throughout the weekend. Debris removal crews will be dispatched throughout the Parish based on those assessments. However, if residents would like to report their storm debris piles, they are encouraged to do so by submitting a “Hurricane Francine Debris – September 2024” service request by going online to http://311.brla.gov or using the Red Stick 311 app. Residents can also dial 3-1-1 or 225-389-3090 if they don’t have access to the web-based applications.
